How much sex can I have?

There's no normal frequency of intercourse. It's whatever is right for you and your partner. If both of you are are satisfied , that’s enough. However, sometimes one person may be unhappy with the quality and quantity of their sex life and the other may not think it is a big deal? As per the Durex Survey (2003) while, on an average there are people having sex once or twice a week, there are also people having sex fewer than 10 times a year.

A healthy sexual relationship is different for every couple because every individual has differing sexual needs. While sexual relationship can vary widely, in general, there are some basic facts that hold hood. Both partners should feel equally pleased with the activities. Neither partner should feel forced into doing something they don’t want to do. Eother partmer has the right to say “no” to sex at any time, for any reason. There should be mutual respect before and after sex.Neither party should suffer a loss of self-esteem. Trust must exist as well as openness about sexual history and current activities.

What are the boudaries to sex?

This is a very personalized area, and depends on both partners. The couples usually form an idea about each other’s likes, dislikes and the sensitive areas based on their inter-personal relationship. If you are aware of what may upset your partner, I suggest you steer clear from it. You can try discussing your sexual likes, fantasies and what arouses you about your partner, and get your partner to do tye same. This will give them an insight about the boundaries and also cultivate a healthy, mutually trusting relationship. But, having said that, you must also keep in mind that India is still a largely conservative culture where sex is still considered dirty and taboo, and therefore the situtaion as to be handled with sensitivity.

At what age will I be too old to have sex?

Providing that both you and your partner are in good physical health, you can continue to have sex to any age. That said, the aging process itself, along with many health conditions, can make having sex increasingly difficult in later years. But, remember, even if sexual intercourse is not possible, physical intimacy can take many forms. Getting older really does mean getting wiser about the many ways in which partners can bring each other pleasure.

Does size really matter?

The average length of the penis is 15cm and 90% are between 13 and 18cm. However, the size of the penis is not important as the vagina is only eight to thirteen centimeters long, and even a small penis can touch every square centimeter within the vagina. But why do adults avoid the topic or joke about it or handle it in a filthy way?

Given the sensitivity and importance of the said issue, it surely needs to be addressed. In today’s age adolescents are constantly bombarded with sexual images, content in movies, TV, Internet and other media and have easy access to pornography. when they are unable to discuss sex, sexuality and related issues with their parents and teachers, they become frstrated and secretive and begin to discuss it with their peers who can mislaed them. Sex education should not be taught, like a subject, or be preached. It should be imparted through interactive sessions with specially trained doctors, in a professional yet friendly manner. Queries and dilemmas that adolescents face should be answered. But even more important, the teachers and parents too need sex education, maybe more than their children at times.

Can Masturbation weaken me and affect my sex life?

As long as masturbation is not ALL of your sex life, and does not take precedence over intimate relationships with a partner, it is will not affect your sexual intercourse with your partner. Masturbation will also not cause any physical wealness. After masturbation, just like after sex, the body muscles become relaxed and the body may feel weak. But this is onlt the effect of the relaxation and will recover within a few minutes.

Can I increase my sex drive?

It is not so much as to what your sex drive is, but whether or not it has reached its potential. Everyone’s level of desire is unique to that particular individual, So, it differs with each partner, and varies within a relationship, increasing or decreasing over time.

Age and a number of emotional and physical conditions can alter sex drive, in men and women, and this is usually linked fluctuations in levels of hormones.

If a physical or emotional problems causes sex drive to plummet - such as erection difficulties in men, or painful intercourse in women - then, desire can be restored to normal by and treatment.

Most often, sex drive will recharge on it’s own, as circumstances in your life change.
